We watched @seaspiracy a week ago and since that it is not going out of our heads. We talk and think a lot about it. One thing that concerns us much is the level of corruption pictured in the movie, how much governments, police and even nGOs are involved in exploiting the ocean. And it is shocking that money can be above lifes and the health of our planet. In the last days we were thinking a lot of what we can do to change and help. It is very important to stay positive, only love can kill the demon. And another thing we can do is to spread the word, to recommend the movie to friends and family. Another is to make activism outside with posters, flyers, stickers, and chalking. We also like the idea of wearable messages, so we are designing a t-shirt motive to raise attention on saving the ocean. Did you watch the movie already? What do you think? 💓🐳🌱
Honestly we are not really sure how we feel right now. It is beautiful weather, spring has fully arrived but somehow we feel a little bit clueless. What has happened? Well, we watched the great documentary @seaspiracy and it was really shocking. We have been vegan for many years and saw on our travels along the coast of the world how crazy too much the people are fishing, but there was something even more disturbing in the movie. It was the network of police, NGOs, governments and fishing industry that greedy and ignorant are lying to us. Although they know that 2048, in 27 years, the oceans will be empty and the planet dead, they continue this massacre. Why? It is their home, too, isn't it? If somebody is lying and tries to hide what they are doing, they probably know that it is wrong. But why are they still doing it? Is it really all about money? And what is it good for, if they destroy their own planet in the end? Well, it seems to us to be a really big structural problem in world society and it seems to be a really big challenge to change the mindset of all the people in the little time we still have. So although it is beautiful weather and little wonders happen everywhere right now, or maybe because of it, we ask ourselves what we can do to change the situation? What can we do, to still save our planet and humanity? For sure it is time to get active, to stand up, not only for the voiceless, but also for ourselves, and to make clear, that it is the planet of everybody, our home, and that they cannot just sell it. To make clear, that enough blood was floating, enough souls have suffered and enough lies have been told. Standing aside and watching our ocean and with it our planet dying is not an alternative. It is time for a vegan revolution, what do you think? 🌱
💛To be able to truly love another person, you first need to love yourself. 💛 We completely agree with Eric Fromm and believe that the world would be a more beautiful place if all of us would love ourselves. Well, sometimes to love yourself seems not so easy. But do not worry. For sure it is something that you can learn by practicing it every day. Do you have more tips to cultivate self love? 💕🐳🌿
☀️Is life like flying on a happy cloud?☀️ Not always. Sometimes you get pushed down and are in the middle of the storm, feeling trapped. This happened with me when i was pregnant with Hugó and we were in Hungary. I had a lot of issues in myself, conflicts with my family and the surrounding was without any perspective. Art was my therapy and so this painting was born with the title 'going inside'. I was painting the circles as a form of meditation and solving knots in me by doing it. And suddenly i was back on my happy cloud. What are your ways to deal with difficult situations?
I like to party! 💓And by party I mean to celebrate life with every soul, independent from color of the skin, gender or specie. To dance with the universe without any fear, any doubts and with no regrets. To love all the colours, to enjoy the moment and to be grateful for the opportunities that life gives to us. How does a perfect party look for you? 🤗🌿💕
🧡🐆💛 We always had a strange feeling with zoos. It never gave us good energy to see those beautiful animals imprisoned and far away from their natural surroundings. So we did not go. But then came Hugo, and with it the wish of grandparents to take him to the zoo. In the beginning we said no, then we had a weak moment, and said yes. But we had bad consciousness after. So we decided to dig deeper in the topic and now our opinion is clear. Never zoo again. Now we share with you the information we got. Slide through to read, and maybe you will come to the same conclusion. What do you think about zoos?
🌿Choose love, not hate!🌿 Nobody but you can decide what four letters on a painting mean for you. For us they stand for All Cows Are Beautiful. That does not mean, that we close our eyes for violence and abuse of power. But life is too beautiful to be angry all the time. We also want to give a voice to the voiceless. When Zoé became mother and started to breastfeed our son Hugó she could not anymore consume any dairy product. She understood how much pain it has to be for the cows when her babies get stolen again and again from her. As a call to stop the cruelty she painted this picture. The one on the photo is a print on a aluminium plate. We have one of it hanging in our kitchen and we love this version for this place, because it its very easy to clean and has no problem with steam at all.
