For a few weeks now we live in a house project in Bremen. One of our flatmate is the seven months old Moric. Today he tried the first time muesli with a vanilla soy drink. He loved it. Actually he was so crazy about it, that we started to think why it could be. Maybe because he simply loves muesli, maybe he was really hungry or maybe it was for the sugar. When we checked the ingredients, we found out, that the soy drink had a lot of added sugar.

Not really surprising. In our times it is not easy to find food without sugar. This Zoé realized again in the last week, when she started her sugar free life. Most of the bread has sugar, the vegetable spreads are full of it, all the soy drinks have it and even mustard is difficult to find without.

We think it is really important to be conscious about the food that you eat. In the last years we continuously improve our diet and we feel better than ever. So crazy that 2 years ago we were occasionally eating meat. Then we became again completely vegetarian, and we did not miss eating meat for one second. The next huge step was to leave all animal products. Wow, this was making such a difference. We feel our body so much more in balance. Not surprising, while all animal products make you totally acid. And not even talking about that we can eat now without bad consciousness, because nobody needs to suffer for our food.

And now Zoé left sugar. It feels also like a good decision, specially that processed white sugar that they use in most of the products is not famous for being healthy. Until now it is not at all like a sacrifice to miss sugar from her life. Even the opposite, again new ways of discoveries open. Instead of buying chocolate, we make ice cream by ourselves from cocos milk, banana, dried dates and cacao. Yummy, yummy. Hugo loves it, too.

Right now we are sooo busy. We still continuously update our exhibition in the Vengo, Bremen, it is getting really awesome. Maybe we can make some photos for you. We are also preparing a bigger article about vegan dog food and beside have a surprise project, that is super exciting.
