if you follow us, you know that our little family is on a never ending journey around the world. And for the last five years our beloved Transporter was not only our home, but also our private beach on four wheels, our candle lite restaurant, our always reliable friend and so much more.
But life is always changing. We got our first kid, we sold our properties and decided to permanently life in a van. For that we bought a big mobile home and our magical bus is from now on for sale.
It is a T3 from 88 with a high roof, a solar system, a washing mashine, mini kitchen, real wood inside, cork insulation and flooring, beautiful front seat covers, much storage place and a lot more. The car has technical inspection up to april next year and is ready to go – you just need to pack and enjoy.
The body is for its age in a good condition. The engine and the mechanic are in a very good condition. Over the years we invested many thousands of Euro in it and made nearly everything new.
The solar system is fantastic. I has a 250 watt panel, a 1000 watt pure sine wave inverter and two 100 ah batteries. We always can use the light as long as we want, can recharge any kind of device, use every morning our amazing mini washing machine (by the way part of the offer) and never had any problem. It would be also possible to switch and use the engine as a generator to charge the batteries, but we never needed to use this option.
The kitchen is in a little wooden cupboard and has a cooker and a gas bottle, which can be refilled over a special designed LPG adapter in any country. This is extremely useful. We got this idea from an vanlife veteran that we met on our first big journey through Turkey. It makes you very independent and you do not need to deal anymore with the madness of a different gas bottle system each country you travel. And you can safe a lot of money, because the LPG is much more cheap than the bottled gas.
We never slept better than in our Transporter. During the last five years it was our 5star hotel room directly on the beach or wherever the wind blew us. We built a big wooden stage that was our spacious double bed and during the day our cozy Moroccan style living room.
And the car even brakes the law of time and space. You cannot imagine, how much storage space you have. Joshua could take his electric guitar, his amplifier and his mini studio and Zoé her travel atelier. And still we brought Hugó’s cloth diapers, his toys, all our clothes for winter and summer, our equipment for our street art festival “LoveRevolution”, our toolbox, a big bell tent and many things more. All without any weight problems. The empty weight of the car is 1000 kg less than the maximum weight, so enough place for dreams.
Its hard to find a better friend on the road. In the five years the bus always started and never let us down.
If you are interested, please write us on firstname.lastname@example.org and make us an offer. We are curious to from you,
Love and kisses,
Zoé and Joshua
