Today we made gnocchies the first time by ourselves. It was a big success. We ate them with mushroom spinach cream sauce and rice.
And it was surprisingly very easy. You peel the potatoes and cook them. We took for the two of us around half a kilo. Then you mash the potatoes, put salt, pepper and chili. Mix it with around 200 g of flour and one egg. The first time ever we tried the self-raising flour, and it worked for the gnocchies very good. You knead the mixture a little bit. Then you cut the dough into slices, roll the slices and cut it to 2 cm pieces.
Put the gnocchies into salted boiling water. When they raise to the surface, they are ready. Enjoy.
