We hope all of you had a beautiful start in the week. Here in the north of Portugal winter rised one more time with ice rain and dark clouds and too cold nights. But summer comes for sure, it is already on the way.
This time we want to share with you the second chapter of our travel diary, Beautiful wild – the Carpathiens.
We left the Donau and found a beautiful hideout deep in the forest. After we made yoga and took a bath in an ice cold brook, Zoé and Skilo were writing the travel diary.
We went deeper into the wild. Our target was the Cozia National Park next to the river Olt.
We arrived kind of early, so we made a walk along the river and collected firewood for the evening. The days before we were picking squash and eggplant in a garden in Serbia. We baked them in the fire, made tea and played guitar. Later the stars rised and a few of them even fell.
The next day we continued to discover the beauties of the Carpathiens:
We drove lonely mountain roads,
found palaces of forgotten times
and finally arrived on our next stop, a crystal clear lake hidden in a green valley.
Here we stayed for the night surrounded by wild horses and wolfs. The next morning we woke up with the birds, made yoga and Joshua was working on his novel, “Sternenkarussell”.
This it was for now with the “Journey of the swallows”. A little bit later chapter three will come. There we arrived to our first big target, the Donau delta.
Hugs and kisses,
Joshua and Zoé

When I opened my e-mails, I found your invitation to the love revolution. I really like it. Me and my boyfriend are planning to travel too. Right now we are looking for the right car. Do you have recommendations? Kind regards, Anna
Hello Anna,
thank you for your comment. Well, the best car is the car that you like. You should follow your heart. For us is important, that the car has a low consumption. We also like, if there is as less electronic inside as possible.
We think pretty good cars are the old FIAT Dukato (up to ’94), VW Transporter (T2 or T3) and the old Mercedes buses. Also Toyota has a nice old bus.
We do not know how much space you need, but Joshua was traveling before in a VW Golf II from 1988, that he built up to a little mobile home. If you have more questions, feel free to write us.
Love and kisses

Hey guys, I had an old Peugeot J5. It is like the Dukato, just that it is made in France. I loved it, I was travelling many times with it to Morocco. So Anna, if you find a J5, it is good, too. Have a nice day, Chris
Hey Chris,
nice too see you on Blueberry Beach. We saw the J5 a few times on the road and it looks pretty sweet.
For a long time we dream about going to Morocco, hopefuly this winter we can manage it.
Hugs
Zoé and Joshua
Thank you, guys. I checked the cars on the internet. My favorite is the ducato, I found a yellow one, it is really sweet.
Hello Anna,
we can understand you completely. Once we fell in love with a yellow Ducato, too.
Enjoy your weekend
Kisses
